5. Questioner is the real whack job |
|
It's amazing to me that everyone is so shocked that Cho Seung Hui killed all those people when jerks like this laugh at their own jokes euphemizing a bombing as "airmail." The amount of violent sentiment in the US citizenry is disturbing to say the least and McCain's answer should have been "Sir, I don't appreciate your flippant attitude about the use of force. I didn't appreciate the president's either when he rigged the evidence and led us into Iraq. Its just this sort of Imperialistic entitlement that provokes them to hate us"
But he didn't so he's nothing better than a panderer.

Absolutely disgusting. And Saint McCain's reaction was equally disgusting. So maverick of him... :eyes: That someone who was intimately involved in dropping death and destruction from above could joke about the Beach Boys and "airmail" turns my stomach, but doesn't surprise me.

9. Your're right. That guy was a case of stupidity in motion. |
|
What is the matter with the country today? So many people want to do harm, maximum harm, to people who have never done a damn thing to them. The want to kill, kill, kill.
I seriously don't think that the majority of Americans feel this way (although I know they did after 911). It's just the soulless human garbage that does.

|
Remember this? Kerry and G.O.P. Spar Over Iraq RemarksSnotz jumped in the 'Demand an Apology' smearwagon. I feel bad for the ANWAR holdout, but that's not to say he does not deserve to be on the receiving end of his newly embraced dirty politics.

14. How far have we fallen |
|
...when a United States senator is making crude jokes about killing people? I mean this stuff is just bumper-sticker, t-shirt slogan awful, worthy perhaps of a high school p.e. locker room. And it's coming from a member of the United States fucking Senate. An absolute disgrace.
Oh, and how well does it sound to joke about killing innocent people just a couple of days after we witnessed a mass killing in our own country? What is it, Johnnie Mac: felt so great at Virginia Tech that you can't wait to share the joy with others? This fucker is absolutely divested from any sense of the awful reality of his decisions.

McCain buddies up to the drooling freeper who asked him the 'Air Mail' question.
So which is it McCain? Five rugs for five bucks? Or things are so bad we need to expand the air war?
Sounds like he thinks a bombing campaign is needed. To complete the viet-namization of Iraq. Sadly, this war will not end as well.
The only way to right the straight-talk express at this point is to stop the campaign.

24. totally inappropriate for a presidential candidate to joke about bombing a country |
|
makes you wonder about his judgment- this is what happens when you drink the bush koolaid- he's totally lost touch with reality and instead of answering a vital question as a statesman with wise consideration, he makes this flip stupid inappropriate adolescent "joke" about bombing people. Really fucked up. IF anyone was considering voting for him, this should give them pause.

27. The Death of Innocents |
|
I agreed with Kerry when he said that 9/11 should have been dealt with as a crime rather than an act of war. Look at what they've done with war: sown death and destruction upon Iraq and Afghanistan. In war, you can kill innocents and call it "collateral damage." In prosecuting the perpatrators of crime, you have to make sure that you're getting the guilty parties and you attempt to bring them to justice, kill/wound them if they put up a fight. McCain is a nut case to appeal to these very "base" instincts. I hope he gets the g.o.p. nomination - it'll make it that much easier for us to win.
