2. LIke that but noisier.
We must have woken up the neighborhood (largely GOP neighborhood at 10pm CT, so many good Repubs must have already been in bed).

That was great. Thank you so much for documenting your experience during this great election. I was not anxious, I was a BASKET CASE! My stomach hurt so bad I couldn't eat all day. And then when the polls first closed and the results started to come, I started to pace the floors. Being from Ohio, I knew how important it was that Obama won our state. When CNN put Ohio up on their map with the first results and it was 63% for Obama with 1% of the vote in, I nearly died!!! I kept my fingers crossed and prayed. Once they called Ohio, I knew he had it won. Once they called the election, I couldn't go to bed. I couldn't get enough to the joy and ecstasy everyone (except the freepers) was to represent out country and that Sarah Palin was not getting her hands on the white house. Oh Happy Day! :toast:

8. I was a nervous wreck until
they called PA for Obama

then I pretty much knew he'd win it all

Incidentally, we sat in front of the tube for hours...until just before 11 PM (in Mass) when we had to take the dogs out for their nightly pee just before tucking them in for the night...

I knew it would only take a few minutes out in the yard, so, knowing that there was time before the polls closed out west, we hooked them up and out we went. Obama's EC tally was about 207 then

Three minutes later we came back in and they were already announcing the breaking news....Obama elected President...I'm like....HOLY SHIT!!! What the hell happened?????

We did the rewind/DVR thing and saw it from the beginning when they first announced it...

And even though I knew he'd do it...I was still overcome with emotion...and so was Mr Pip.

I don't think I'll ever forget that moment.

PS...I also got weepy watching that again

15. You should have seen me when they called Ohio for Obama.
I was watching FOX News (yeah, I don't know why) and everyone was sitting around the kitchen table IGNORING THE DAMN RESULTS. I was the only one who saw it and started screaming as loud as I could "OBAMA WON OHIO! THEY CALLED IT! OBAMA WON OHIO! OBAMA WON OHIO!"

I lost it.

18. I didn't have enough hands to run video and pop the champagne...
I had to settle for a toast, a tear, and a snapshot of the moment.

I like the multiple tv's - though I only see Adam3tvs in your video.

19. How wise of you...
...to catch that. Actually 4tvs was a one-man show I did awhile back: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nkUDh1zUthk

And to give you perspective the "little" tvs in the obama video are 27 inches. THe monster is 10 feet. :)
