i doubt in history has a political force like US rightwing 'conservatism' ever misjudged the merits of its choices so badly as this example- and they're still doing it, despite knowing that brazen criminality haunts every aspect of the news coverage alone! Gonzale's still AG, and Bush is still C in C! Thanks to mediawhores keeping mum about the facts...it's utterly ridiculous. Yet the choice back in the 90's and even in '04 was so damn clear. Good versus evil.

This was a great speech, and I"m glad to see someone on DU spreading it around, since, like a lot of other important speeches and events, it seems to have been, once again, pretty much ignored by the media. Agree with other posters here: Kerry was out in front once again, he's been (shamefully) ignored by the $$ media, and, if the elections had been run with integrity, we would have had Gore and/or Kerry for president. Both of them would have been first-rate presidents.
