That show is the best of the worst. My wife and I spent some time watching an episode in it's entirety making fun of it. We were fricking ROLLING on the floor with laughter at the bad acting, stunts, logical gaps, hokey scriptwriting, and the overall plot. It is truly a show made for the lowerst common denominator and for us folks who like to laugh at them.

One of the worst "actor" who ever made action movies.

16. I've never particularly liked Chuck Norris' politics,

but I gotta say a couple of things.

1) The clips used were all from the movie Lone Wolf McQuade, in which Norris also played a Texas Ranger. I always thought Walker, Texas Ranger was based on that movie (or a rip-off of it, if you prefer).

2) I don't know about his Christianity, but there's nothing faux about Norris as a tough guy. He was a martial arts champion and award-winning teacher long before Bruce Lee pulled out a handful of his chest hair in Return of the Dragon.

Okay, there's a third. 3) I kinda liked Walker, at least at the beginning. In the first episode I saw, he did some real martial arts, the kind where he only moved a few inches, and the other guy goes down. Later on, they did the typical "movie martial arts"--big, flashy moves with long wind-ups, like the spinning back kick. Norris is really good at that kick, but a real martial artist opponent would consider it an insult. It's possibly the easiest technique to see coming, and easy to counter (step back, or better, step in).
