15. I think Bill is on to something here...

Its been a long, hard, dry and dusty road, lined with
horrific wreckage of our country, society, and law.

The light of the candle of our liberty still barely flickers,
but casts light enough to show more wreckage in the road ahead.

Yet somehow we are willing to again believe in the promise of America.
Somehow the world is willing to believe in it too.
So this is how we will rise again, in our own eyes,
and in the eyes of the world.

So somehow, just at this moment, in the audacity of our hope
it feels especially good to be an American.
