1. Great job as always, Rachel
I'll K&R just about anything with Bob Redford. I'm not one to consider actors as heroes. I save that for the real ones like fire and police officials and our service men and women. Redford (along with his late friend Paul Newman) has earned the accolade. He's best known as an actor and director, but his philanthropy and activism over the years have shown him to be a real hero, not just one on the big screen.

He'll always be one of the special ones... He seems to pop up on the news when he's really got something to say so you know this is important.

Still looks good for 72...just wish he'd let his hair go all gray...but I could listen to that voice all day.

7. I'll ask my rep to write legislation to block the Bureau of Land Management
from opening up pristine lands in eastern Utah (or anywhere) to leasing for oil and gas extraction until after the new administration has had an opportunity to take office, and do its review of all government agencies and their functions.

4. War Crimes Hearings > Immoral Petty Last Favors for Business!
Of course what would we expect from this sociopathic sith crime dynasty. W will go down as the worst President in US history. The question I have is: Can this Republican failing and mismanagement be all ineptitude, greed, incompetence, and/or ignorance? This last deception smells of spite, greed, and opportunism. At a base level this action - seems to be malevolent at its core.

These new last minute laws should be blocked, by reminding Bush...."ummm hey we might have to have some hearings on War Crimes, if you persist with these unethical last minute BS measures that the American people do not want."
