4. The anthrax attacks also happened on Bush's watch |
|
He ignored the memo, Bin Ladin determined to attack inside the US. The American invasion and occupation of Iraq has helped spawn a new generation of Islamic radicalism and yhe overall terrorist threat has grown since the Sept. 11 attacks. The idea that Bush keps us safe is pure bs and propaganda.

Mr. ejbr, I couldn't agree with you more about the idea of RR being "necessary". The trouble was the man who preceeded him in the White House. Prior to the outgoing chimp, Jimmy Carter was the worst chief executive since Harding. Carter fucked things up so badly the American people put the party of greed, war and enviro-rape in charge for the next quarter century(Clintons "new democrats" included). I was a kid from a blue-collar background in 1980 and believe me, it wasn't easy to turn working-class people against the party of Roosevelt, but Carter managed to do it, crippling progressivism and giving the slimeball Republicon snake-oil salesmen the opportunity to brainwash my generation with neanderthal militarism, neo-racism and of course, Republican Jeezus. For decades, Jimmy Carter was an albatross around the neck of the Democrats, and it took the even greater mismanagement and gross criminality of the GOP for that rancid bird to finally drop off. Our nearly three decade long national nightmare started with the bright shining lies of Reagan's neo-cons, but the bastards never would have gotten in without Jimmah.
