1. It's Been a Long, Painful, Bloody, Loss-Filled 8 years |
|
8 Years! That's certainly the least that Bush deserves. He's lucky to be on the street and not in prison, but that may not last very long.

11. True - it was too mild. |
|
Now if Cheney had tumbled down the stairs in his unneeded wheelchair and knocked Shrub flat to thousands of laughing onlookers, THAT would've made it special.

Oh wait!!! He's moving to Dallas where I live. I guess the protest sign comes out when that Lie-brary is built. Maybe the Attorney General can speed up War Criminal indictments on him and Cheney.

He's the most unpopular president in US history, responsible for thousands dead, potentially the worst economic crisis in US history, lied, tortured, and lied about torture. What did you expect?

19. Bad form? No, bad form would have been to remain silent. |
|
Bad form would have been to acquiesce. Bad form would have meant to honor a war criminal. Bad form would have meant to allow the nation's worst pResident to smirk his way through yet another public encounter. Too fucking bad the entire crowd did not throw their shoes at the sniveling bastard.

Chants of "na, na, hey, hey, goodbye" when Georgr came out. Boos for Bush, Barbara, Gingrich, even Roberts. Sounded like the voice of the people to me.
Believe me, the bigwigs heard it.

Thanks for sharing that. I want these criminals to be miserable for a very long time. 4200 souls need to be appeased for fighting a war prosecuted on lies.

24. I was there. I booed. Disrespectful? |
|
Absolutely. Lying, killing hundreds of thousands of people, destroying millions of lives, ruining America, disrespecting (putting it very mildly) the entire planet.....the Bush administration's legacy will leave the most massive shoeprint of disrespect ever. I booed, I sang na-na-na-na, GOODBYE knowing it was disrespectful. I don't think I've ever booed anyone before, but HAD to this time. They never listened to the "focus group" of American people for 8 years, and this felt like my our one chance to MAKE them HEAR (even if they still can't listen).

25. It was impossible not to boo... |
|
I felt like it was my duty to let that bastard know what we the people think of him. Bad form? Disrespectful? That may be these so-called "NEWS REPORTERS" opinions, but it sure as hell isn't the opinion of a majority of Americans. I only wish I could have been up on that podium with a box full of shoes.
