At first I was thinking, "this guy's a fucking jerk!" and by the end I was going, "Yeah, I totally agree with this guy."

Funny how that happens sometimes.

And sound like a jerk. I felt the same way you did. I agreed with everything he said. Especially the part about that "What's he hiding" bullshit. When people say "What is Obama hiding" it's the biggest kneejerk load of horseshit I think I've ever heard out of a right wing so desperate for logical excuses to explain away their blatant racism. I'm with this guy. Even if he's a fucking jerk. I think we need as many logical jerks as we can get. Beats the pants out of the loser attitude a lot of us democrats have been putting on for years now.

11. Sure, this guy is sort of a douche...

Opinionated, absolutely sure that his opinions are correct, and obnoxious about it. I can think of a lot people (including myself) that are similar, especially here on DU.

I don't agree with everything in his rant, and I think he basically dismisses the whole of the human race in it, but I say to him: "Have at my friend. It's your right to be sort of a douche and envision yourself the superior human if you like".


But seriously, a little self-examination couldn't hurt.
