4. If people are mired in debt to the point where they are getting foreclosed on |
|
giving them a tax cut is not going to stimulate jobs or the economy. It's going to pay down their debt. They are not going to use it to buy stuff.
Am I wrong here?

6. It usually goes like that |
|
Or to various bills. Say if somebody gets an extra 1000 or so back and if they are hurting financially, tney typically spend it on things like rent, care and utility payments, at least the bulk of it. They don't go out on a spending spree or anything. However if they get food stamps that all is spent, 100 percent of it. It's all stimulus. Or with unemployment. It allows them to go and spend as a consumer and it's stimulating. The best, of course, is a job, but the Republicans don't know the best way to create them. They think they do, but that's because they are dogmatic about their own ideology, it's not rooted in facts or reality.

7. I think thats the point. |

They would rather make the money available to people to pay on the debt they have, and not think about the debt that will be incurred if they continue to barrow to pay off old debt.
Sort of like paying off one credit card with another. Just keep kicking that can down that road full of pot holes and fish it out of the mud to kick it some more.

8. "...spending money on things we can't afford." WTF |
|
is this idiot saying?!!!!! We can't "afford" to fix America????????????? Fuck him and those Republicans that HATE America! We're fixing her anyway! If you don't love her, leave her! Mo'f'ers... If we raise taxes on these well-to-do Republicans like Mr. Cornyn here, we'll fare better too. I vote for that!
