I find it ridiculous that Oprah's support matters, but I realize that it probably does. And well, I agree with her on Obama, so I have to see this as a good thing. But it infuriates my cynical side.

As I watched a preview of an upcoming Oprah program on tv yesterday showing an illusionist hanging from his feet wrestling to get out of a straightjacket (something was mentioned about his attempt to break Houdini's record), my immediate thought was, here's the most revered woman of television, & she could have used her popular program to shed some truth into the last six nightmarish years.

if he wins the nomination he will win the presidency. I have been saying this all along. Oprah made it clear that if he ran she would support him...and and now he has decided to run. Her power is rather huge. He will win.
