12. Well I have thought from the get go |
|
that this was a planned setup for El-RushBo and he is just enough of an egomaniac to take the bait hook, line, and sinker. The fact is President Obama is much more intelligent than him, and I think has a much better developed sense of political street smarts than Rush.
That being true, I would place money that while Rush has been successful at bullying people for some time now, I think this time will work out to him having torn off more than he can handle.

4. Yep. Branding the Rethugs as the Party of Limbaugh is very smart. |
|
Moderates and indies are repelled by Limbaugh: if he's the voice/face of the GOP, it just marginalizes them even more. It has the added benefit of being true: elected Repukes are scared shitless of Limbaugh.

18. Yes, but remember: the rw rethugs invited him to give their keynote |
|
speech at their convention last week. They are doing this to themselves, and happily, Obama is using it to advantage. Can big fat stupid idiot finally be silenced?

Newt Gingrich is another POS that needs to be set adrift in a leaky dinghy. In the middle of the Pacific.

The Authoritarian Political Action Cabal.
Not sure why Rush is all of a sudden the defacto intellectual soul of the GOP. I've been paying attention for a long time and I feel that he's been the real voice of the Right since the early 90's. Presidents and pundits require his approval. Millions of misguided morons worship his every word. Politicians and main stream media are and have been terrified to call him out. Obama and now Emanuel and MSNBC the very recent exceptions.
Rush speaks for the Right Wing, period.
