8. Imagine if Democrats had to line up to kiss the ring of Michael Moore.

If MM chastised Pelosi and Reid on air, then they had to publicly apologize and acknowledge Moore's greatness, the 'Pubs would have a field day.

I give great credit for this Republican leadership meltdown to Rahm Emannual, as he seems central in playing Limbaugh's immense ego against the party to show the cowards behind the curtain.

Now the party's at a crossroad. They have to figure out how to get out from under Limbaugh's thumb and regain control without upsetting him. I don't think that's possible, and no matter how it turns out, it's a win for the Dems.

If Rush wins the battle for control, the party appears weak. If the repubs win, Rush is marginalized. They painted themselves into a corner, and I don't think it was an accident that CPAC was brought into the daylight this year.

Take it to them. Why would anyone apologize to Rush Limbaugh and the ugly face of
right wing garbage. I remember McCain's speech in Norfolk at the start of the 2000 primary
season. He called out the right winger religious crowd like Falwell and Pat Robertson (who
is just down the road in Virginia Beach). Let them all have it and it was terrific.

Now the head of the RNC no longer has free speech.

No wonder Bush wanted to abolish the First Amendment.

He's my favorite political commentator not seen on TV. I enjoy all Cenk Uygur's video clips, rants, articles, including this one. I also think the machismo angle was overdone, but I still liked this one, even though it was sexist.
