Is Rush Limbaugh One Of The Two Witnesses of Rev. 11?

Not only is Rush one of the witnesses in Revelations. But the bible CLEARLY states that socialism is evil. These people need to MOVE!

1. Yea I try to learn from these people.
And realize where he compares rush's speaking with the symbol of fire from his mouth. And in doing that it is now not the bible saying it. It is him saying it.

On his point about, if a man doesn't work he doesn't eat.

And if he believes a man should not eat if he does not work, well then get those government spendings going to get people jobs, so they can eat. To help the least of these. But on a bigger point, this man also does not get to define what work is.

Its all interpretation to fit what he already wants to believe.

2. This is what concerns me about Christian wing-nuts these days.
Here is a guy who is claiming to be a pastor, which he probably is a graduate of one of the 100's of "Bible Colleges" we have in the country today, yet he has absolutely no understanding of the theological foundation or underpinnings of "The Revelation of St. John the Diving", which is the books correct name. I refuse to refer to it as Revelations in that it adds credibility to what many of the early church fathers considered a heresy to engage in, that of it being a book which provides a road map of how the world ends. Such claims are nothing more than dime store and tabloid theology which causes much unneeded anxiety in our county today.

3. Diving in
Well, no, I think St. John the Diving is an olympic event, but you're certainly right about everything else. It's "Revelation" (singular) not plural and best left to people who are not the confused right wing to interpret. Most people keen on speaking about that last book of the bible get their understanding of it from the "Left Behind" book series and have not really read John's Revelation in the bible.

4. I know. One thing I've noticed about the dime store theologists
is that they quote almost exclusively from the Old Testament and that Revelations is there favorite part of the Bible. Why don't they just call themselves Jehovah Witnesses. They continued to distort Jesus. They have nothing in common with him. "Money is the root of all evil".

They've turned him into "Supply-side Jesus" with money in one hand and a bomb in the other. That's why I call them the Heretics.

It's my personal belief that what they are really trying to do is bring back the "Divine Right of Kings".

Which as we know Jesus through under the bus.

They're the body of the Anti-Christ.

5. I think you are correct and have long thought that looking
at their beliefs through a theological lens it does constitute a heresy. The following video explains it in a great way.

10. If You Don't Work You Don't Eat?
Edited on Mon Mar-09-09 11:26 AM by demwing
That's not the message of the bible I read. I believe this guy is possesed by a demon. ;) /sarcasm

the truth is that Jesus sounds like a socialist hippie!

Matthew 19:20
“‘All these I have kept,’ the young man said. ‘What do I still lack?’ Jesus answered, ‘If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.’"

Luke 14:12-14
"Then Jesus said to his host, ‘When you give a luncheon or dinner, do not invite your friends, your brothers or relatives, or your rich neighbors; if you do, they may invite you back and so you will be repaid. But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.’"

And of course, Luke 12:22-34

"And he spake unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for your body, what ye shall put on. The life is more than meat, and the body more than the raiment. Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn, and yet God feedeth them; how much more are ye better than fowls? And which of you with taking thought, can add to his stature one cubit? If ye then be not able to do the least thing, why take ye thought for the remnant?

Consider the lilies how they grow: they labor not, neither spin they; yet I say unto you, that Solomon himself in all his royalty was not clothed like one of these. If then God so clothe the grass which is today in the field, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith?

Therefore ask not what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither stand in doubt. For all such things the people of the world seek for; and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things. But rather seek ye after the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be cast upon you.

Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father's pleasure to give you the kingdom. Sell that ye have, and give alms; make you bags which wax not old, a treasure that can never fail in heaven, where no thief cometh neither moth corrupteth. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also."
