and rush was just their point man, laundering GOP talking points and framing through a 'populist' format.

most of their effect on politics and media the last 20 years has been completely missed or underestimated because the ones who it attacked the most preferred to turn the dial than get a headache. now the headache has turned into a disaster- the talk radio monopoly has definitely influenced elections and most of it was disastrous for dems, liberals, and americans.
