they still think they burned the White House, instead of the British regulars that actually did it. Although he started out well on the subject of Bush, the rest was the usual Canadian shtick. It was funny once, way back.

The burning of Washington was retaliation for the burning of Toronto, during the war in Europe - units out of Halifax (theoretically Canadians) were sent to Bermuda and later went with the 4th Regiment to invade Maryland in 1814, hence Canadians burned down the white house.
Most of the trashing of Washington was done by a single unit of Royal Marines.
When the British reached Washington the city had already been virtually abandoned, few of the troops actually entered the city except to loot.
