2. Among his long list of regrets...
Palin has to be near the top....

I really really detest Palin and hold contempt for those who idolize her. I find it to be a problem on occasion, as there are some, otherwise intelligent but politically oblivious people that I know who hold her in some regard....

5. Difficult to pick which cartoon super hero pair would match, but definitely
their campaign seemed like a cartoon with misfits for the super hero duo.

Maybe Mork and Mindy

8. I hope he comes clean in his next memoirs - which he is no doubt writing already

he admitted a lot in his last memoirs (because he didn't think he'd ever be running again)
he should really lay it out there this time

9. Isn't it WEIRD how he ALWAYS adds "her family" into it when he's expressing
his "admiration" for Palin? It's like she's his little niece. SO creepy.

10. McCain is plenty mercenary...
but voicing, or not voicing, a preference re. the 2012 primaries is an area where he can go with his druthers and not lose anything, and Palin is not his kind of Republican. He's basically a secular guy, upper-crust Episcopalian brackground -- c'mon, there's no way he's gonna throw in with tongue-speaking, wild-eyed fundamentalist goobers if there isn't a big potential payoff for him.
