6. Tony the Fixer and Judge Long Dong |
|
both had conflicts of interest in Bush v. Gore, and should have recused themselves. Scalia's son worked for the law firm representing Bush and Thomas' wife was on the Bush transition team. But hey, everyone should know Republicans are above the law as they are "the party of god" (Hezbollah in Arabic). The Fixer and Long Dong should both be impeached, but the wimps in the Democratic leadership are too chickenshit to do the right thing, even with the numbers necessary to restore the rule of law.

I seriously doubt he is losing sleep over a decision that was decided before he ever opened his mouth in court...The SCOTUS was stacked in the Republicans favor then as it is now and will be for probably the next decade provided nothing unexpected happens. Just so happens the 4 justices that tend to vote against the Dark Side are among the oldest in the court. So, if President Obama gets to appoint any justices he will more than likely be replacing one defender of freedom and justice with another not changing the balance...This country could be tetering on a theocracy for the next decade! SCARY!
If he is losing sleep it is due to the scenario I just pointed out and not the scenario that took place a decade ago. IMHO.
