5. How powerful is that!

An incredibly moving tribute. Keith is so good. I know it probably was a bit hard to do that, but at the same time, I'm sure it was very cathartic. Excellent, excellent tribute. I know his mom must have been very proud of him.

I never met her, but she was a delight, if that interview is any indication; I currently have my mom living with me, and she is much like Marie. It's a challenge, but the humour makes it all bearable. When we can't laugh, that will be the day it's no longer viable.

It was so touching, with the video of him and his mom going to a game, the early pictures, the interview with her. Her illness came on so suddenly, it's unbelievable. I was wondering why Keith was off for two days last week, and now we know.

R.I.P. Mama Olbermann, and may your survivors find strength to get through this difficult time.
