1. At least they got around to telling it like it is on shrubs great economy |
I am getting so pissed off at these conservatives running this find something to sell and start a business Bull Shit. How is a person with either bad credit or no credit and no cash or assets supposed to start a business? It remends me of grandpa telling me how in 1932 he went to the dime store and spent his last nickle buying 5 pencils, then turned around and sold them for 2 cents a piece. He said he kept that up all day buying and selling pencils an bu the end of the day he had not only rent money, but he also bought a weeks worth of food for the family. Well and fine that it worked for him in 1932 but in todays world thats called pan handling and can get you 90 days in jail. Thats conservative thinking for you, look to the past and ignore the facts of today.

2. I HAVE my own business and my wages are down 70% from the Clinton |
years! I have a lot of self employed friends, too, and all of them have seen dropping revenue since 2000 as well. The only area where business is up? Foreign sales! That's right; the weak dollar helps to make sales overseas, but if you aren't exporting, then what?
I'm so sick of this "wages are up across the board" LIE; they are up for those making over $400,000 a year. Most of the rest of us have had to take pay cuts or slash our fees to remain competitive and in business. Meanwhile, inflation continues to surge. :grr:

3. According to one of the 25% that husband owns a water drilling business, when things get so bad in |
the state she's living in all she has to do is pack up her business and move it to another state picking up where she left off. Its really amazing how delusional the 25% are when it comes to economics, the grass is always greener somewhere else. Of course right now shes just raking in the money, yet Michigan is one of the hardest hit states this year what with all the automotive factories shutting down. I guess she's hoping the Dow chemical workers will keep her business going. As far as I can tell shrubs economic failures are nation wide and your not going to escape the hardships by moving. Btw, on Bills show last night he was saying that even Wal-Mart is seeing a decline in their business. Seems the only ones that are making an up swing are the stores like Saks. How about the stores that sell to the wealthy as my speeling sucks on some of those stores.
