Next up, a motion to declare pi equal to three exactly, so that the math will be easier.

1. OK, universe is Earth-centered, 6,000 years old, and I'm never moving to Texas.
One of those statements is the absolute truth, and I don't think you will have much trouble figuring out which one.

Never.

3. There's only one thing I like about Texas, and I just learned it yesterday!
Turns out they eat their burgers with mustard (yes, that's right) on them down there! Anyone ordering ketchup on a burger better be under 12. They scornfully call burgers with ketchup on them "Yankee burgers". That's what I heard anyway.

So with Hannity devoting 10 minutes of his TV show to how un-American it is to have anything other than ketchup on your burgers, where does that leave Texas Freepers?

I can't believe I even brought this idiocy up. Especially on a thread devoted to other right-wing idiocy. This sad little group of wackos simply cannot die off fast enough for me. It's a good thing they're all so old.

6. 11 to 3, but what was the proposition?
I guess I could watch it again, but I'm hoping someone will clarify here.

7. They keep talking about "teeks" (Tiques? Teaks?) - what are they?
It seems to be something in the textbook they're talking about, but I've never heard that sound before except in relationship to the wood.

9. I wondered that too so I did a Google search.
It looks like she's referring to a TEC, the Texas Education Code, which has sections and subsections like that.

10. Thanks! That was bugging me, and I couldn't even imagine how to start looking for an answer.
I'm surprised there's more than one section in the TEC.

TEC: 1) If the Bible says it, it's true; if it ain't in the Bible, it's a lie, probably perpetrated by Darwinist abortion-lovin' libruls, or possibly communists or gays. END.

11. Wouldn't it ideally have ten sections?
They would include "thou shalt have no school boards before me" and "honor thy mother and father" and "don't covet thy neighbor's pencil case."

8. Calculators are the work of Satan
Log tables and slide rules are now standard. How the Hell do we know what goes on inside those little Commie-made infernal machines.
Also added, a chapter on the proper method to calculate your tythe.

13. this is why people need to be more devoted to local politics than
they are to national politics. if you're a texan with kids this asshat has a greater impact on your life than president obama. don't concede local politics to the crazy wingnuts.
