With billions of dollars in cuts to K-12 education on the table, a bunch of parents and kids in the South Pasadena Unified School district put a video message together for the governor. Based on an old Woodie Guthrie song, the video is both hilarious and a bit sad at the same time.

2. Reminds me of a story

Back in the early 90's, when Pete Wilson was hacking the state education budgets, several teachers began getting their students to write letters to the governor pleading for no more cuts. So what did Wilson do? He complained to the principals and administrators about the letters and demanded that the letters stop, claiming that it was illegal lobbying.
