Iranian President Ahmadinejad is in jeopardy of not being re-elected. Among the issues being raised in the campaign by his opponents: his denial of the Holocaust, which many Iranian voters (many of them under the age of 30) consider a national embarrassment.

You mean, the Republicans whose demonization of Iran, including it in the Axis of Evil even after they assisted in the capture of Taliban who were fleeing over their border, marginalized the reformers and catapulted Ahmadinejad into to power?

Speaking as someone who won't see forty again, I'd like to say how happy it makes me to see that young people can be progressive and open minded everywhere. Maybe there is hope for the human race after all.

4. Ahmadinejad had our help.

That douchebag wouldn't have been elected if Iranians weren't livid about being called an Axis of Evil. All reformer candidates were put to the wayside because of Bush's stupid fucking remarks, and Iranian pride voted for a candidate who could be just as ignorant and inflammatory as our president.

Now that the hardliner funies in Iran are being embarrassed as much as the hardliner fundies are here, they're looking for a reformer again. We can't forget our responsiblity to stop electing warmongering dipshits as the economic and military leader of the world.

Only Republicans can be so fucking worthless and treasonous that they make the tyranny of one party rule seem like a Godsend.
