Only to slow down Dems. He's never been strong on issues in particular and his Mormon upbringing makes him a whole hearted republican. I've said this time and again, his main purpose is NOT to help the dem party. He might even be likened to a subtle "plant" in our party.

We will never move forward with Reid as the majority leader, period!

I whole heartedly agree. And Harry Reid is the weakest dcked majority leader in the history of the Senate. As one poster said, Reid is a republican blocker of progressive legislation.
