Well that was NOT a very good example. The woman in the video went up to the 'police guy' and starting kicking him and then he turned around and started hitting her with his stick. I person could come to the collusion that he was acting in self defense and his actions were justified.
I think that WE here in America need to look at what OUR government is doing to women and children here on 'our own streets'. It was just a few days ago that an American policeman tasered a 72 year old grandmother for refusing to sign a speeding ticket. Children in our schools are being strip searched, tasered, and handcuffed without being arrested or being read their rights. We Americans need to spend some time here in the USA and speak out against the unjust treatment of women and children here in our own country.

At the begining, she was trying to protect the guy they were laying into. Possibly her husband, boyfriend, brother friend, complete stranger; who knows? Whatever the case, she was definitely trying to stop them from beating up that guy in the bus stop and they reacted disproportionately.

okay.. I went back and looked at the video again and I did see the police hitting the guy (which I didn't see the first time) .. but since we don't know why the guy was getting hit we really don't know why the girl was kicking him. I think we support the Iranian people in this revolution but at the same time we can't jump to conclusions in all videos without knowing the full story.

7. Contextually, whatever the reason was for hitting the guy she was protecting is actually irrelevant |

Two other thugs joined in as well. there is no way, by any stretch of the imagination, that the beating of that woman was "self defence".
ETA: I'm astonished that a) I have to even spell this out and b) by the amount of "police" brutality apologists I've come across here recently.

should stop throwing these dubious videos online and labeling them with misleading titles. Too many dram-ma queens out there posting videos with misleading titles and content!
