1. So the Iranians know that Sen. Bomb, Bomb, Bomb Iran is just trying to.. |
|
score political points at home, and doesn't give a hoot about the protesters. I think that sums it up quite nicely.

As Teddy Roosevelt recommended. The world knows that he has a "big stick" if necessary.

4. It is striking that.... |
|
those who want to give full-throated support to Iranian dissidents today, were eager to bomb the hell out of Iran yesterday.

5. This is the moment that shows Barack Obama was the right President for our times.... |

A more reactionary response or one that bowed to certain media pressure could of sent the potential for reform in retreat. The President is handling this perfectly BY not being George Bush.

The protesters and demonstrators in Iran are the liberal Democrats of Iran.
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the repressive regime, the Basij goons, and the right-wing pseudo-religious ayatollahs are the phony-Christian Conservative Republicans of Iran.
Where was the republican outrage over the fraudulent Bush elections or the trumped-up vanity war in Iraq? Obviously, Republicans are hypocrital corrupt mass-murdering criminals.

11. Although I have some issues with the president at the moment, |
|
one must give credit where credit is due. He is handling this as well as one could hope our president would.

12. McCain amply demonstrates that America is fortunate he was defeated. |
|
Can you imagine what could have transpired if McCain and his asinine running mate had been elected to lead our nation? He is a pathetic example of the intellectual and moral bankruptcy of the Republican Party. McCain only reveals that his lack of moral fiber in regard to his personal life pervades his entire being. He is no different than Cheney and his pack of neo-con Machiavellian gangsters.
I have to conclude that rather than working to strengthen our nation, these degenerate bastards would destroy the nation for the sake of their corrupt party and personal interests. Surely younger Americans can grasp the total intellectual dishonesty of these charlatans. At least, I hope so.
