4. Ugh so bad yet so good
I'm saddened by how silly this all is, but then again I find it hilarious how saddened I get.

5. Thanks for reminding me why I never watch cable news
and only tune into the local guys at ten past when the weather is on.

Good gawd. This country is totally fucked.

Thanks a lot, cable news. What a great job you're doing informing the public of issues they really need to know about.

I'll give a hearty 3 Bronx cheers.

I gave up cable news in particular, and cable in general 4 years ago, and have never looked back. These people do a great disservice to our society, and to the professional credibility of journalists everywhere.

Cable news is not news at all. It is a non-stop rose bowl parade of idiots and buffoons, in my opinion, who ramble on incessantly about things that are inconsequential -- like weeks of Anna Nicole or Paris Hilton coverage -- while simultaneously remaining mum on things that do matter, things like the war crimes that are committed daily in our name, things like our Constitution and Bill of Rights being whipped mercilessly in the shredder, failing to ask real questions, using real logic, and further providing cover for those who carry out those atrocities.

Such is the state of cable 'news'. :grr:

11. Actually, Keith does talk about war crimes, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights
and ask real questions, use real logic, etc. He's one of the few.

This was his Reader's Digest Condensed Version of what had been happening all day long. Spared me the agony of having to see it all happen live. (I was at work anyway, and thankful to be there.)

I give up.

I don't think this country and its people could get any more stupid but this proves me wrong.

We have devolved down into a new species...below the apes... Hell, we might have devolved below the bivalves.

my apologies to bivalves everywhere.

12. Screw MSNBC and the news media...
First the "let freedom ring" cheerleading in the invasion of Iraq and now forget the "modern day-Vietnam" in Iraq by distracting them by putting up this Paris Hilton crap!

Keith Olbermann aside, damn MSNBC and the news media to hell!
