You could cart out the obstetrician who delivered Obama and it wouldn't make a difference.
As a matter of fact, I'm waiting for someone to pay a 60 something Kenyan to go on camera and claim s/he delivered him.

2. many of these people can not accept that a black man is President |
|
after all you have his certificate of live birth and the announcement in 2 Hawaiian newspapers along w/ the Governor of Hawaii and the head of Dept. of Health in Hawaii all saying that he was born in Hawaii and "they" still don't get it.
BTW so the
CIA FBI IRS INS Homeland Security Secret Service Columbia University Harvard UNiversity Occidental College The Republican Party The University of Chicago The Illinois State Senate The Illinois State Police The State Dept. The U.S. Senate all missed that Obama was not born in the U.S. of A.

5. The governor of Hawaii is a Republican, too |
|
but, she's not a RW extremist (to my knowledge), so is obviously in the tank for Obama.
I liked Maddow's suggestion the other day - when issues of McCain being born in Panama were an issue 12-15 months ago, Democrats in the Senate (including Hillary Clinton) stepped up and offered a resolution that declared McCain was a natural born US citizen. It effectively killed any "birther" type movement on the left. Where have the Republicans been related to Obama on this same issue? Why can't they do similar?

3. Propaganda works!! This is an AM radio, talk shows phenomena |
|
This illustrates the effectiveness of political disinformation.
We need to overthrow Clear Channel and inform the Nation of the truth.

4. It's always the South. |
|
Just like all bush-era crimes can be traced directly to cheney, our problems with right-wing crazies seem to always end up with the South as the prime offender.
What are we to do with these people? They are holding America back.

to make the idea clearer, let's say the nazis finally won dubia dubia too (worldwar two) on dec12/00...and the 'greatest generation' were bystanders while reagan etc made it happen. All that money fighting for something they then just gave away- or rather demanded, their enemies take away from them! enemies who were chickenhawks almost to a man, for the most part! Taking candy from a baby appears harder the defrauding an entire people (using the peoples' own myths to destroy it and ruin the future!)

...we haven't surrendered yet. Otherwise, the only option I see is moving somewhere else. That doesn't scare me so much as I've lived abroad before and know that many things are better, but I simply love L.A.

They won't be appeased.
One of the Conservative techniques is that if you say something enough, it sounds true and takes on a life of its' own. For example, "we don't want the smoking gun to come in the form of a mushroom cloud".
The more they talk about it, the more normal it sounds. It's the same with the birth certificate angle.

the month. If it was 58 percent of all America that would be a concern. We know their game and they do too. He has to focus on the business of the day and not the ludicrous. They know full well they are lyig on this this most of them not all of them are dumb but have no problems in being econmical with the truth. I've been on paltalk voice chat and there have been thousands of times where they have been caught out lying by their own words. One Republican said 'our party are experts at throwing muck and seeing what sticks.' This wasn't even one of the brightest ones so they know, they so know.

11. All right - where's the OTHER birth certificate? |
|
In this country, the burden of proof lies with the accuser. The next time a "birther" demands to see President Obama's Hawaiian birth certificate, those present need to present a counter-demand to see the OTHER birth certificate, the one that proves he was, indeed, born in Kenya, Indonesia, the Pleiades, or wherever - with APPROPRIATE PROOF that it is not a forgery.
The burden of proof lies with the "birthers" - not with the sane people of this country - and anytime they throw down this gauntlet, the gauntlet needs to be thrown right back into their self-serving faces.
