President Obama will award(ed) 16 individuals the 2009 Presidential Medal of Freedom. The President will deliver(ed) welcoming remarks and then present(ed) the medals to the following individuals:

6. Obama Is Not Fit to Honor Harvey Milk

What incredible hypocrisy to "honor" someone you consider a second-class citizen. I'd like to think that if Milk were alive, he'd tell President Bigot where to stick his medal.

7. although I think Harvey would have gladly came to receive this if he were alive, he still would have

told Mr. President that he is part of the problem since DADT is still around, and still smile and shake his hand and ask him to keep his promise.
