and I do mean a REAL FUCKING REASON before you shout your "FUCKING REASON" at all of us.
Now go back to defrauding the Televangelists...I like it when you do that.

middle class and working poor.

The only redeeming value that (most) libertarians have is that they're more reasonable on social issues (and things like imperialism and the fed), unlike social conservatives.
Then again Ron Paul (for example) is NOT pro-choice.

7. Yep - if someone stands for things that benefit the mega-rich and hurt the poor and middle class |
|
I consider that person a rightwingnut. I don't care if they prefer to call themselves libertarian.

17. Well, there are those of us who identify as left-libertarian, but we don't get a lot of press... |
|
We're the ones who aren't so caught up in ideology that we can't recognize that in many cases "collective action" increases personal freedom, whereas "individualist" reforms that effectively add up to "freedom of the most ruthless" to prey on everyone else decreases personal freedom. It's not freedom if you have to spend all your time watching your back.
If Penn thinks "small government" is so swell, let him try to enforce his own copyrights on his material, or resolve it himself when someone doesn't pay him what they agreed to in contract.

19. I caught an episode of Penn & Teller on cable. It was a pathetic attempt |
|
at right wing humor. The episode I saw was an anti-tax puke-fest and featured Dick Armey and Grover Norquist. He's about as funny as an STD.

To be fair his show, bullshit - is actually really good. The problem is Penn is a libertarian and thinks any tax is a bad tax.
The tax episode was immediately deleted from my dvr. The other episodes of this show aren't as biased or driven by Penn's hate for taxes.
He does seem like a greasy dick on youtube though.

This is: White males afraid of losing power. Whiners who lost an election. Idiots working against their own best interests because Glenn Beck tells them to. Corrupt politicians who work for big pharma, big business, big oil instead of their constituents. Racist assholes who can't handle the reality of a black president. War mongering chickenhawks who are afraid of losing their gravy train. Evil people who can't even finish their own job but feel they can criticize the job someone else is doing.

16. Dissent is still patriotic ... blind obedience still isn't ... |
|
but shouting down someone who actually will try to answer an honest question, or is actually addressing the question you are asking (but not listening to the answer) ...
is acting stupidly ... at best ...

22. Yes, even dissent against fraud and trickery used in dissent. |
|
He should stick to exposing the fraud and trickery in magic. His current gig as a Political Illusionist doesn't suite him well. His frauds and trickeries in this Field will be exposed just as easily. When the audience has figured out that what he's conned them out of is not the price of admission but health care instead. The backlash will be severe.
