5. Greg's half-sister and my kids grew up together....

His parents and I were neighbors many years ago.

I knew about the health-care issue, because it was on our local news. It made me really angry to think that his father had to give his life so his son could have medical care. In what other civilized country does this happen?

I attended the funeral service. There was a Brigadier General there to present Greg's medals to the family and all I kept thinking was how tragic it all was that the citizens of this country don't have the WILL to demand SINGLE PAYER HEALTH CARE for everyone.

Later, I remarked to my daughter, "I guess Jack will have health care now". And so he shall. Somehow it doesn't seem like a fair trade.

DAMN all those selfish, worthless, RW whackos who care for no one but themselves. "Inasmuch as you have done it unto the least of these...." :cry:
