4. The overwhelming ignorance of the facts is what gets me.

All the anger, all the rage, all the hate, all the fear - and 90% of it is based on beliefs that are simply not true. If their beliefs were true, I would respect their opinions, even if I disagreed. But how can you respect the opinion of someone who says "I don't want to be a guinea pig in Obama's experiments", as I heard one Teabagger say? Or the ones who rail against FEMA's concentration camps where conservatives will be tortured and executed?

This is crazy, folks. It's impossible to have a proper discussion under these conditions.
