2. The American media should cover this with the same zeal as they cover Chavez. |

4. Heh... Du should cover this with the same zeal as it covers Chavez. |

There are lots of threads filled with people who are riled up abaout "dictator" Chavez. Yet not a word from these people on Honduras. Or on Columbia and Alvaro Uribe, for that matter. The only time they listen to the MSM (which they distrust when it comes to any other subject), is when it's about Chavez.

One thing that is becoming obvious. It's not as easy as it used to be for the US to overthrow Laten American democratically elected leaders.
They tried and failed in Venezuela. They tried and failed again in Bolivia and now in Honduras.
The time has come to accept that the people have spoken and rejected brutal dictatorships supported by the US and its allies. How about dealing honestly with these newly emerging Democracies which I think is one of the most positive stories of the past decade? A whole region declaring its Independence. Why is the US not applauding them?
I wish it wasn't so hard for the people. We should be 100% behind the rightfully elected leader of Honduras. It is disturbing that the Obama administration doesn't seem willing to come right out and condemn this coup.

Maybe Alan Grayson can say something instead.

9. The US is behind this. |

All Democratic administrations have supported dictatorial regimes. It's not an exclusively Republican thing.
