Not sure how you win a PEACE award for committing to a WAR in Afghanistan, but I'd imagine it helps if you're not the most internationally hated president in US history.

21. The Nobel Prize organization has awarded him this partly because of his "apologizing"

around the world that conservatives hate. It is called diplomacy and I think he is doing a great job at it. The notion that America should stand alone as this big super power that is ready to swash any country that disagrees with it is completely at odds with world peace and that is what this award is for.

Obama changed our place in the world from bully to co-worker.

And add to that the fact that America will almost certainly go from one of the biggest industrialized counties with the worst health care to one that serves all people. That alone deserves a Nobel Prize in my mind.

I remember how I would see this news unfolding each morning and experience nausea and despair. Did I dare hope there would be moments like this?
