not wishing death on Limbaugh. In fact, it was a prediction of Limbaugh's demise, and not wishing it, either. So it was neither wishing nor death.

He is channeling a bizarre movie scene. No one actually commits murder that way. He is not suggesting anyone actually even WANTS to literally KILL Limbaugh. He was speaking figuratively.

I think Rush being "Mr. Big" and someone will put a pin in him and he'll deflate, or something like that...was not speaking LITERALLY about his weight. He was speaking about Limpball's EGO and self-national-exposure, and self-sense-of-importance. Someone would end up bursting his ego balloon, so to speak. Especially with the NFL issue being front and center...other white rich men possibly not wanting Rush in their exclusive club.

THAT'S what Chris was speaking about. It worked particularly well, though, because Limpballs DOES have a real weight problem.

with that ass Limbaugh? "Tweety" went off track with this comment for a variety reasons and it is indefensible even if understandable. Who knows what he might have meant, what he said was pretty clear - that someone someday would kill Limbaugh in some bizarre manner and he would "be there to watch".

I heard the comments when they were on the show yesterday, and when I heard them, I took the comments to mean that he was speaking of his EGO or ID or whatever you want to call it.

No, I don't think making fun of anyone because of their addictions or other issues is okay. But Tweety wasn't making fun. He was making a serious comment.

Making fun of Limpballs' food issues or addiction to pills doesn't bother me particularly, though, because it's Limpballs. The comedians have been had a field day with Rush's pill addiction, since that came to light. I haven't heard any concern on DU about that. I don't view his food issues any differently than his pill issues.
