David Shuster is interviewing them.

Potter says we should have known the insurance companies would do something to try to kill reform and peel off Democrats.

Dean says they should pass the public option. Says yesterday's bill just gives loads of money to insurance companies.

Dean says he is astonished that people who work for us refuse to give us a choice in health care.

Dean says we have enough votes in the Senate to get the public option through with folks like Baucus. Says they might not allow it to go to the floor. Says they are asking that Democrats stick together on cloture, the votes are there for the vote.

Says if we don't get it to a vote, what is the point of having a 60 vote majority. Why have a majority if you can't do the business of the people of America.

Potter says Democratic leaders need to show some backbone on this. The insurance companies will fight all the way, but Democrats must stick together.

Potter says if folks are forced to buy an overpriced private option, that will not be good for the Democratic party.

Potter amazes me with his outspokenness. Hard to believe he was an executive with insurance.

3. We stuck together to elect these people - we expect them to do what
we elected them to do - haven't seen much yet, congress, that makes us feel like electing any of you again....maybe if you had a little less privilege and actually had to work for your money you would gget the idea.

4. Rahm says Baucus plan meets key goals. So just relax...don't worry.
"Committee Chairman Max Baucus's health care reform bill meets the administration's key goals for a health care overhaul."

They surely did set low goals IMO. Rahm and Baucus, the face of health care reform. Something very wrong with that picture.

7. These are the outsiders of the party, speaking out as they should.
Meanwhile the insider faces of health care are Baucus, now Rahm. It's discouraging.
