1. Hopefully the 'Cartel' will be finally taken care of - they have 'earned' the attention |
|
Grayson should be given a staff to take care of these issues - we need to get ahead of the momentum and take this all the way

2. Only one proponent of a public option. |
|
Rockefeller is not participating, but Snowe is. What kind of double-cross is this?
Rahm Emmanuel is part of the group. That means that Obama is in the loop and that he is part of this double-cross. Shame on Obama. What kind of Democrat is he?

4. Does this group in Sen. Reid's office that will later include Ms. Snow follow |
|
the common purpose rules? Will there be one person,Mr. Dodd, at this table trying to offer up a plan for the working Americans, and will the rest be working hard to toe the line for the status quo?

5. And at the moment the main people to contact are Dodd, Snowe, Reid and the WH.... |

A strong public option or nothing. According to Hartmann we don't have to worry about filibusters as long as these people insist on the public option being in the Senate bill. With Sen. Dodd being the main proponent of the Public Option. I think Snowe can be persuaded with enough pressure from her constituents. I think a petition with a lot of names and address from Maine would push this through. We have to make it clear to all people invloved that they're adamant the Public Option will be in the bill, make it very clear.
