1. The Obama admin cracked down on the social networks in Iran prior to the Iran elections. |

The Obama admin got the Treasury Dept O.F.A.C. to mandate that Microsnot, Facebook/Myspace, etc, shut off access to the major social networks in Iran (and N Korea, and Cuba), using a long time un-enforced article in the Trading with the Enemy Act relating to communication services, 3 weeks prior to the Iran elections - just when they were needed most. Strange timing. This left the Iranians with (ahem) Twitter (as it turns out, Twitter was working closely with the State Dept, supposedly to help with "maintenance downtime"). I posted several stories verifying this during the Iran post-election demonstrations.
Of course, pointing this out (with links) made be a Basij disruptor, anti semitic, Ahmadinejad supporter. :eyes:
