"Jamie Leigh Jones, now 22, says that after she was raped by multiple men at a KBR camp in the Green Zone, the company put her under guard in a shipping container with a bed and warned her that if she left Iraq for medical treatment, she'd be out of a job.

"Don't plan on working back in Iraq. There won't be a position here, and there won't be a position in Houston," Jones says she was told.

In a lawsuit filed in federal court against Halliburton and its then-subsidiary KBR, Jones says she was held in the shipping container for at least 24 hours without food or water by KBR, which posted armed security guards outside her door, who would not let her leave. "

1. I just want to SCREAM and cry
It leaves me speechless even though I want to say so much.

There's a special kind of hell for those men, KBR/Halliburton and the 30 Republics that voted against the Franken bill.

Jon Stewart makes more sense than the opposition-idiots on Capitol Hill:

:grr:

Thanks for posting this video, I hadn't seen it.

4. It bothers me that they didn't touch on the Franken Bill and the 30 R's
who voted against these two ladies right to be given justice.

Duh..I automatically assume things at the top here are new.:dunce: It was a great segment:)
I saw her on Rachel. I hope the 30 Republicans that voted against her lose their seats.
They should at least. But they wont. I live in KCMO so I should see a few interesting political ads. :)

Edited to add.." Posted on YouTube: December 16, 2007" Doh!! My bad. :)

7. It's so sad that it took years to get anything accomplished and she STILL hasn't
had her day in court.

8. A real and important point . . .
How many other women have been raped while working for "defense" contractors who didn't report it due to their contracts and fear of repercussions. I'd bet a great great many.

9. The "boys will be boys" adage that's used a couple of times here enrages me!
It's more like disgusting, abusive, rapist pigs will be disgusting, abusive, rapist pigs.
