4. I like the advice he gives to husbands: Don't assume child care is your wife's job |
|
to juggle along with whatever else she has to handle, while you just look after your job and do the "fun stuff" with your kids. You need to be the one to pick up your kids in the car sometimes, to take them to the doctor, to stay home with them when they're sick, to remember what they like to have packed in their lunches, to know the names of their homeroom teacher and their best friends. Your wife shouldn't be expected to be The Great Organizer and do all that for you. Take an equal role in being Dad and don't leave all the "juggling" to her.

5. But men more often than not "DO" assume those things are the mother's job |
|
Heck, men "play stupid" all the time (even though they're usually not stupid at all)...they're clever as the fox (take that as a compliment guys ;-) ) But some of us have figured you out.....
Men often are kind of like the kid you make wash the dinner dishes....and the kid does a HORRIBLE job. There's cheese still stuck to the pots and plates. The drinking glasses feel 'sticky' when you go to dry them/put them in the cupboard....so what do most women do? They "re-wash" them (even though the dishes were never properly washed in the first place)....and laughingly never ask the 'kid' to do the dishes again. They can 'dry'.
Women (well, speaking for myself, at least) need to SPEAK UP and say, "you didn't do a good job!" DIO - Do It Over (till you get it right!....you're not stupid, so stop acting like it!)

6. ladies and Gentlemen. Your comments please. |

Nothing? Nada?
Did I "hit the nail straight on the head" so much so that no one is admitting it? I would guess that if I'm way off in "left field" that many would attack me/this post. I'm gonna assume, I've got it figured out.
However that still means I'm doing the dishes tonight..... <<<<sucks>>>>>>
