2. The GOP play every trick to confuse us and hold us up, more voters are going to ... |

Edited on Mon Nov-09-09 05:49 AM by ProgressOnTheMove
get tired of this as it goes along. I wish the right wing voters could see it's not out of any concern for them, all through history it never has been, all they care for is staying in office. The last 100 plus years prove it over and over again, it was the Republican great depression they make everyone go broke as they can't govern. And history shows Democrats save the day, if they only give them the support. Everyone got progressively poorer under the last President and got more expensive health insurance, why oh why do they want more of the same. *sigh*

3. This is the best explanation on the problem with Stupak. |
|
I've read a lot on this board and Ithink the people here don't know what the major problem is, because when she said it, I fully understood. I had a problem with it for other reasons but this is definitely a good explanation. However, I'm unsure that even in regular private insurance plans women EVER really had as much choice as they think. Since not all if any insurance companies cover abortions.

4. Mine did, no questions. Covered hubby's subsequent vasectomy, too. |

If the Senate changes nothing else in this bill, this abominable amendment MUST be stripped.

5. I agree. She lays it out bare. Good people should be hitting the streets against this treachery. |

6. This is a HC reform bill, not a reproductive rights bill. Stupak should not serve his cause this way |

9. Leave it to a family values white guy |
|
to keep whittling away at Roe v. Wade. When I heard this outrage, my mind immediately went to the Supreme Court. It is my fervent hope that Scalia steps down in the next couple years.
