OVER 100 MORE examples of Fox News Bias at http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=A3BD2524FE99BD4D

When Jon Stewart from "The Daily Show" appeared for an interview with Bill O'Reilly on Fox News' "The O'Reilly Factor," the segments that were broadcast on February 3 and 4 were heavily edited and, as I show in this video, the editing left out Jon Stewart's destruction of the big attack Bill O'Reilly had planned to use against the Daily Show's mocking of Fox News bias.

The image of the video player for the August 19, 2009, Daily Show segment titled "Fox News: The New Liberals" comes from the Comedy Central webpage at http://www.thedailyshow.com/watch/wed-august-19-2009/fox-news--the-new-liberal

And, finally, image of my new Fox News Bias in its Video Editing playlist comes from my YouTube page at http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=814374ED833C9047

1. Great stuff. Thanks for making your videos.
I'm so glad you are documenting what's occurring with FOX News. Someone needs to, and you're doing a conscientious job of it.

Academics down the road will be grateful, I'm sure--because there are a lot of books yet to be written about how right-wing media have caused this country's political process to go off the rails.

2. "fair & balanced"'
"we report you decide". And right wing nuts believe this shit. That's why any time they hear anything close to truth on TV or the radio their head explodes and they start bitching about that "liberal media bias".

5. Absolutely
The OP hits it on the head about the hypocrisy and bias. One of my rules is if a Republican/Conservative accuses a Democrat/Liberal/Progressive of something you can pretty much rest assured that the Republican/Conservative is guilty of doing just what they accuse the Democrat of doing.
In some cases it is just transference in that they 'cons' look at it as 'well we do this so everybody else must do it too'.

6. I look at it as
republican/conservatives are just hypocritical, morally and intellectually bankrupt morons who will someday wake up to the truth when it's too late. Maybe..

7. Agreed
I agree with your point. Another interesting angle on this is in the area of 'spin'. When the Republicans/conservatives (and yes I think they were the originators) first started 'spinning' the news they would take a kernel of truth and then embellish it with half-truths and lies. That way if they were challenged they could frame their answer to only address that part of their spin they knew to be true. As they did this more and more they apparently realized or decided not to care if there was any truth at all and that it was easier to just tell a second lie to cover up the first lie/spin. Along with doing everything they can do to make sure the other side is not heard (ie yelling over their opponents on cable talk shows) they figure if they throw out enough lies the liberal side won't be able to get their message out because they will be spending all their time trying to point out the lies. Yes it is hypocritical, unethical and maybe even immoral but unfortunately it also seems to be rather effective in indoctrinating large numbers of people.

8. It's a shame that most Fox viewers...
will never see this, and that most of those who do see it will not believe it:hurts:
