3. He blinks when he's flustered. That looks VERY bad on TV.
But he has excellent big poofy Televangelist Hair.

5. I thought my husband and I coined the term "televangelist hair."
We grade our bad hair days in stages. Medium bad is "frighten small children," which deserves brushing. Worse is "frighten wild animals," which means the hair must be washed and styled fresh. "Televangelist hair" is the worst stage, and calls for an immediate haircut.

But Rachel was super. She's the best interviewer on TV, even better than Jon Stewart, who held the title until she got her show.

Schlock is an English word of Yiddish origin meaning "something cheap, shoddy, or inferior."

8. Didn't give Rachel a chance to strengthen her point
Schock seems to forget that democrats who voted against the tax cuts did not go around taking credit for the tax cuts the way the Republicans are going around taking credit for the stimulus-funded projects that they voted against.

Big difference.

13.  did not go around taking credit for the tax cuts

Not to mention the tax cuts didn't do what they were "supposed" to do. Indeed, they have a lot to do with the deficit. As Krugman points out: he can find no example in all of history of a country at war also giving tax cuts. Taxes are raised to pay for the war. Who the hell would want to take credit for the "tax cuts for the rich during two wars" failed policy?

10. What debt?
it's always the same, Dems come in to pay for what the Republicans get (without paying for it)

Republicans like legalized shoplifting. Sooner or later someone's gonna have to pay for it...

Kinda ironic when the first stimulus came out good ol Ben Stein said it was too small. He's a Repug... But one that at least has some brain cells left.

12. What galls is that he barely skips a beat...
... when Rachel provides an example of outrageous hypocrisy. I'm not even sure it registered.

That's behavior that is the very definition of shameless. I might even be willing to go further with this guy: it seems borderline sociopathic.

14. The overwhelming amount
of any debt my kids and grand kids are on the hook for was run up during the last three Republican presidencies and raised largely for business subsidies, tax reductions and military spending financed through borrowing against the good faith and credit of those who did not participate much in the largess.

15. Hey, Aaron! Your comment to Rachel about "giving back her Bush tax cuts" is disingenuous..
Rachel was in no position to vote for or against the Bush tax cuts. Hear that, Aaron? Rachel was in no position to vote for or against the Bush tax cuts. However, you, Aaron, were in the position to vote for or against the stimulus bill. You voted "no" but then took the money anyway. Someone needs to point this out to you.

You're a fucking hypocrite and don't debate very well...

And how do you know, Aaron, that Rachel got any "Bush tax cuts?"
