market, exotic (overly complex) financial instruments and "too big to fail". And prosecute those that engaged in malfeasance leading to the economic collapse.
And renegotiate trade deals, like you said. What is the tariff on a Harley Davidson in Singapore? What is the tariff on a made in Singapore scooter coming into the U.S.? Every single trade should be on an equal footing or NO DEAL. Same with worker's rights and environmental standards. Just look at the fucking maquiladoras as an example. And allowing products to come into this country manufactured by government subsidized industry is fundamentally unfair unless we enact a tariff to level the playing field.
