1. I don't think this is very good.

Comparing tea baggers to terrorists is not really fair, and not very accurate in my opinion. I think of them more as misguided tools of the right wing propaganda machine. They find the next tea party on right wing radio, show up full of talking points and complain about all the things Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck tell them to complain about. Calling them terrorists will just make them think they are being attacked because they are right.
Most of them don't even understand what they are spouting, and will crumble with a few questions.

So, instead of calling them anything, ask: exactly what rights are being taken away from them?

Or, ask if they understand how the social programs we have in this country were started to solve real problems and make life better for our citizens.

Maybe remind them the word Progressive has progress in the root, meaning to move forward, hopefully making things better by solving problems as you go.

If they bring up Woodrow Wilson, ask if they would like to go back to the days of child labor? Woodrow Wilson was the first to put an end to that little form of oppression.

If they bring up FDR, ask how much they really understand about what was happening at that time, and how we DID NOT become communistic as a result of the New Deal.

2. I think he is spot on

Terrorists all have the teabagger mindset. With that as a start, they have convinced themselves that violence to get their point across is justified. Anyone who is prepared to walk into a peaceful crowd with a gun strapped to his side needs just a little coaxing to make it a suicide bomb vest.
