May 07, 2010 — In all the years that the Republicans were in power, they caused immeasurable damage to the United States. Bungled counter-terrorism efforts, an unnecessary and ruinously expensive war, tax cuts for the wealthy that we can't afford, mismanaged Katrina relief efforts, and a global recession. This is the Republicans' legacy. Please, don't vote Republican.

1. The problem is not voting Republican

It's unenthusiastic Democrats who will not turn out to vote. If we can bridge the gap in "enthusiasm" we can not lose so many seats in Congress.

2. "Fake left go right"

is why the Democrats will loose seats in Congress. Had they gone left they would stand to win seats. Despite all the billions of dollars spent to create the conservative society illusion, America is a center left society, which is what a democratic nation is by definition. Concepts like conservative democracy or right wing democracy or religious democracy are oxymorons.

3. The problem is, if I wouldn't vote for a conservative Republican,

why in the world would I ever consider voting for a conservative DLC/New Democrat when there's barely a spit of difference between the two? If the Dems ever back true Liberal/Progressive candidates, then those candidates will get my vote. As of now I am hoping for a Liberal/Progressive challenger to Obama in the primaries. Of course like they say, hope in one hand, shit in the other and see which one fills up faster.

4. And that is exactly what happened in the Ma. Senate election.

sad to say; But expect repeats as long as RAhMbo is in charge.

5. Unless the economy tanks

I highly doubt that Obama will have a serious challenger.

These ones* that voted for the banks and against the American people? These Democrats that behave like filthy Republicans? I don't think so. I am going to vote for the real Republicans instead. What possible difference could it make?
