Maybe this wise ass math teacher thinks he's a commedian or that by using such an inappropriate and outrageous example to solve a geometry problem with his students somehow is motivating and inspirational and that students will better learn. Give me a basic break! This type of trash talk is standard fare in that flyover state of Alabama. It was a racist remark and there was a smartass message beyond geometry in it. The superintendent is correct in expressing his anger at such stupidity and I applaud the superintendent. I am not amused by the teachers actions and I am not satisfied that interviewing the teacher is enough to determine he is not a threat to the President of the United States. His Facebook page should be examined, his association with the NRA should also be examined. His voter registration card should also be examined to see if he is in fact a Rightwing Republi'con' loon, and the newspapers should be canvassed to see if his face shows up holding up signs at any Teabagging debacles! Maybe he should be sent down to the middle school and he can confine himself to teaching simple math like addition, division and multiplication and stay away from geometry because it makes him crazy and can only analyze angles in relation to doing a headshot of a public official. I'll bet a dollar to a doughnut the SOB is a friggin' Republicon!

I find it very sad to see so many on this board showing so much hate towards alabama.
There are alot of good people here who arent crazy. We just happen to be the minority right now. (like many states)
And everytime you degrade and judge the entire state you throw all of us in it.

some of you guys ridicule the woman in the video for stating there are bigger problems in our school systems (like real violence, crowding, low grade averages, and tons more problems) than a teacher making a jackass choice as a mathmatical example.
You automatically steroeotype the woman and you know NOTHING about her. She could be a fellow democrat for all you know just stating the obvious, that we have much bigger problems in our school system (u know like, education for children).

But you simply cannot pass up a chance to stereotype all people from alabama can you?
Some of us from alabama are fighting the good fight. And we are having a hard time against some of these crazy conservatives, But you seriously underestimate how many good people there are in alabama and how much work we do to help the same causes you do.

Try to contain some of that hate will you?
It doesn't help the cause.
