Sorry Israel, I have yet to see a peace process that you didn't go out of your way to screw up.

4. Pure Israeli propaganda
Hundreds kidnapped and still being held, including 9 Americans. At least 9 killed. Who are the Americans? Who are the dead?

5. Gaza conditions 'at 40-year low'
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/7280026.stm

Gaza is a humanitarian catastrophe, I don't see how the Israeli's gain from it.

The Israelis need to eject the perma-smirking Netanyahu and deal with the problem.

6. This guy's arguing that the blockade is legal. UN: "Gaza Blockade Is Inhumane and Illegal"
UN HUMAN RIGHTS CHIEF CONDEMNS VIOLENT INTERCEPTION OF GAZA AID FLOTILLA
31 May 2010

GENEVA – United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay on Monday condemned the Israeli military interception, in international waters, of a flotilla of ships carrying aid to the blockaded Gaza Strip, which reportedly led to several deaths and numerous injuries, called for an immediate and credible independent inquiry, and urged the lifting of the blockade.

“We need to establish exactly what happened. However, nothing can justify the appalling outcome of this operation, which reportedly took place in international waters,” Ms. Pillay said. “I unequivocally condemn what appears to be disproportionate use of force, resulting in the killing and wounding of so many people attempting to bring much-needed aid to the people of Gaza, who have now been enduring a blockade for more than three years.”

The High Commissioner called for an immediate and fully independent inquiry into today’s operation and killings. “When people are killed there must be serious investigations, and there must be accountability,” she said.

She also urged the Government of Israel to heed the “almost unanimous international view that the continued blockade of Gaza is both inhumane and illegal.”

“The blockade lies at the heart of so many of the problems plaguing the Israel-Palestine situation, as does the impression that the Israeli Government treats international law with perpetual disdain,” she said. “If the blockade had been lifted, there would be no need for flotillas like this.”

7. I stopped right there when the first statement was
declaring the "legal siege" of the Palestinians.

Not to mention that was the worst, headache producing piece of crap I have ever tried to watch. Who created that thing; Glenn Beck and Frank Luntz?

8. Not even good quality propaganda.
I think the Jerusalem regime has lost most of their more talented American apologists. Time for Netanyahu and Lieberman to go.

This whole episode shows just how out of control Israel has become. Time for the US to start exercising some control.

9. Really?
I haven't heard Hamas making any peace overtures, but with the oppression the suicide bombers and those involved in rocket attacks don't seem to killing a whole lot of Israeli citizens.

Would any of that factor into your analysis? Or do you think the Israelis have no right to defend themselves?

13. It has everything to do with the blockade and treatment of Gazans
As far as I know they have never done anything but wage war against Israel. Hamas, especially, has never disavowed its goal to annihilate Israel.

I deplore the harsh tactics but I am not so sure that Hamas gives Israel a lot of choices here.

12. The Netanyahu-Lieberman regime is about as legitimate at this point as Hamas and
Amadinejad. They were all elected. They all have killed enemies and political opponents. None of them seem to understand symbolic politics or really have much control over the armed zealots in their midst.

Israeli has the deadliest weapons, so I would factor them as the most dangerous of the group at the moment.

This is really terribly, terribly dangerous.
