This is kinda like TopHat1, but with 3 tubes on the side as opposed to one on the top.

1. Won't work for the same reason Tophat didn't work.

The shit coming out isn't clean water. It's large chunks of methane ice, freezing hydrates, rocks, gas and oil. It's going to have the same problem no matter where you put how many tubes.

To say nothing of the 260+ tons of 'lift' the flow has.

It has been intriguing seeing so many people coming up with so many cool ideas on how to stop this.

Even if they wouldn't work, it is ingenuity and creativity at it's finest.

I knew I had posted how much force it was spewing at at the time of the initial explosion. It might have less 'lift' now, but this has been discussed before, from another inventor.

5. And what stops the oil from leaking out the bottom? This is neat, but no good

Firstly, the surface around the leak is not akin to a piece of plywood. It's uneven, and littered with debris.
Secondly, even if there was a flat seabed, the pressure would spit the oil out of the bottom of the box.
