1. Leaders in Iran as well as N. Korea know... |
|
If they build a nuclear weapon it instantly paints a huge target on them. Instead of bringing them more security it makes them more vulnerable to attack and this does not fall on deaf ears. If either of the nations actually use a nuclear device they know that their country will quickly become the first nation to be completely devastated by nuclear weapons (Japan in WWII was already devastated when the two bombs were used). So what will they gain by producing such weapons?

3. I guess I see it a bit differently |

If a country is "building" a nuclear weapon, they should live in constant fear of the US and Israel. If that country actually "builds" one or several nuclear weapons, then we become paralyzed, just like we are now with North Korea.

2. Heh heh, I've seen another piece by this guy and I have to agree. There are... |
|
..huge holes in the fearmongering with Iran. I've said it many times before, if Iran had a deathwish they certainly don't need a nuclear program to go about getting themselves nuked. His final question is a valid one:
How can Iran have ambitions and a death wish at the same time?

4. The whole deal is a charade........ |
|
The reason that Iran is and has been in the crosshairs of the United States is that they have this nasty habit of having an independent mind. They overthrew the Shah, who was re-installed after the US, via the CIA, overthrew Mossadeq.
Since they insist on having an independent mind and some energy supplies, the US will continue to demonize the state.
It's as bogus as the cold war, and Operation Gladio, and Cambodia and Korea and Iraq and Afghanistan. The US does not fight for freedom; it fights for resources, and most of the excuses for said wars are bogus.
